Naver, Seznam, CC search, and Swisscows are examples of the online search market; however, in this article, top 10 most popular search engines worldwide are going to be mentioned. In the top 10 most popular search engines, Google has the highest percentage in the search market, following Amazon, Yahoo and Bing. In the top 10 most popular search engines, Ecosia, Baidu, Yandex, and DuckDuckGo hold lower ranks. However, these are still well recognised in this internet world. Ecosia is a charity search engine that works for the environment, DuckDuckGo focuses on privacy, and Baidu holds 70% of the single-country search market in China.

SERPs (Search Engine Result Pages) are shown when 3 important elements are carried out by search engines such as crawling, indexing, and ranking.

Crawling: it can be defined as finding the URLs related to users’ keywords in search engines and then searching the content of those URLs.

Indexing: it checks that all information should be shown on SERPs as per the query of searchers or, in other words, all the pages must be available on the user’s display.
